商业与职业发展部门 (Business and Career Opportunity)
1. 与企业,专业组织,营利机构等建立以赞助,合办,承办等各种形式的合作
2. 筹划赞助建议书,使用CUCSSA的资源为合作组织提供价值达成合作,努力为CUCSSA所举办的活动提供赞助资金支持
3. 与企业合作,为在校学生以及校友们创造、联系更多就业机会,与招聘企业达成双赢
4. 与各类机构合作,为在校学生提供各类培训活动,提升哥大中国学生的职场竞争力
1. Promote collaborations with off-campus organizations through co-sponsoring, co-organizing events, etc, with organizations including but not limited to corporations, professional organizations, alumni associations, non-profitorganizations.
2. Propose sponsorship packages of CUCSSA events to CUCSSA friends, corporatepartners and other organizations, and seek logistic and financial support to further advance CUCSSA's mission.
3. Create more career opportunities for Chinese students in Columbia University through the collaboration with corporations.
4. Collaborate with Center for Career Education in Columbia and off-campus organizations to provide Chinese students with all kinds of career training, promote Chinese students’ competitiveness in career.
社会与文化事务部 (Social and Cutural Affairs)
1.组织策划各类社会文化活动,推动大纽约地区华人社区的文化建设和学术交流。涉及的活动包括学术讲座、社交聚会、游戏娱乐、文艺演出等
2.建立及管理CUCSSA Society。CUCSSA Society旨在为哥伦比亚大学校友、CUCSSA顾问、及曾经参与CUCSSA各类活动的VIP嘉宾们建立一个交流平台,为CUCSSA提供更广阔的与外界联系沟通的机会
3.策划有特色的文艺活动,如一年一度的哥伦比亚大学春节晚会, 中国文化节以及传统节日的中小型庆祝活动
4.与其它部门协作,负责CUCSSA各种大型活动的具体运作和执行
5.负责筹划与运行“新生关怀项目”的各种活动
6.负责微电影的规划及筹备工作
7.管理子属部门:舞蹈社,相声社,三国杀俱乐部
1. Organize social activities to promote cultural and intellectual exchange for CUCSSA community, including but not limited to lectures, parties, entertainment events and art performance
2. Establish and maintain CUCSSA Society, which is to serve as a platform for Columbia University alumni and CUCSSA advisors and VIPs to enhance the networking and communication opportunities with the CUCSSA broader community
3. Design and deliver featured cultural events, such as the annual Chinese New Year Gala, China Day and celebrations for traditional festivals
4. Collaborate with other CUCSSA departments when organizing large-scale events
5. Plan and execute New Students Care Program
6. Plan and organize Micro Film shooting
7. Maintain and oversee the subordinate groups: Dance Club, Cross Talk Club, Game Club
组织与校内发展部 (Community Development and Initiative)
1.促进CUCSSA与哥伦比亚大学其他学生社团的合作与交流,扩大CUCSSA在校园的影响力。致力于成为校内华人社团的伞组织,加强与包括商学院、法学院、教育学院、工程学院与SIPA等各相关中国学生组织的联系;同时拓展与校内主流美国社团的合作,增进了解,创造交流平台。
2.加强CUCSSA与哥伦比亚大学校内行政职能部门的联系,建立并保持与哥大校董、教授与访问学者的长期联络。旨在获得校方的支持与认可,充分利用校内资源
3.维系CUCSSA与大纽约地区各非营利性组织(NPO)的友好关系,拓展新合作领域;保持与其他常青藤盟校CSSA及国内各高校美国校友会的合作伙伴关系
4.增进CUCSSA与哥伦比亚大学全球中心(北京)和哥伦比亚大学校友会及各分会(北京、上海、香港)的合作,在大中华地区建立活跃的哥伦比亚大学校友圈。
5.管理子部门,包括各体育俱乐部等。
1. CDI communicates and coordinates with other student organizations in Columbia University, aiming to expand the presence and influence of CUCSSA on campus. It helps CUCSSA to serve as the umbrella organization for the Chinese community in Columbia, strengthening ties with Chinese-student organizations in the Columbia Business School, Columbia Law School, Columbia Teachers’ College, SEAS and SIPA. It also promotes partnership with American-student organizations on campus to deepen mutual understanding and facilitate communication.
2. CDI seeks to obtain continued support from the University by working closely with the University administration and maintaining good relations with the University Board of Trustees, the President’s Office, professors and scholars.
3. CDI maintains friendly relationships and seek mutually beneficial partnerships with non-profit organizations in New York, CSSAs in other Ivy League institutions and alumni associations of Chinese universities in the U.S.
4. CDI works closely with the Columbia Global Center in Beijing and Columbia Alumni Associations (Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong Chapters) to establish an active Columbia alumni community in the Greater China Region.
5. CDI oversees activities and events of affiliated clubs, i.e. Sports Club and etc.
媒体与公共关系部 (Media and Public Relations)
1.增强学联公共关系,在学联原有影响的基础上,广泛扩大其在美国主流社会以及中国本土的影响;
2.建立学联与美国主流媒体的合作,继续加强与国内大型新闻媒体的紧密联系,宣传学联的年度各项活动;
3.分管多媒体部,涉及工作含活动报道、网站管理、摄影摄像及相关后期处理;
4.首创多平台智能手机应用项目,迎合数字化趋势;
5.出版高品质学生杂志,为海外学子提供表达才智的平台;
6.树立与维护学联良好品牌形象,应对公关危机.
1. MPR promotes CUCSSA’s public relationships and further extends its influence nationally and internationally.
2. MPR fosters cooperation with mainstream media in the U.S., as well as strengthens connections to the Chinese ones. It garners widespread publicity for every event CUCSSA organizes.
3. MPR establishes the multimedia branch, whose responsibilities include event reporting, website management, photography/videography and related post-processing.
4. MPR initiates the multi-platform smartphone application project, following the digital trends and serving as a precedent for other CSSAs in the U.S.
5. MPR launches the student magazine, aiming to revealing the thoughts and talents of students abroad.
6. MPR developes branding strategies and keeps up positive image for CUCSSA. It also handles public relation crisis.
